Dubai Duty Free was presented with the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Leadership Award and Environmental Leadership Award at the recently concluded World Leadership Congress held at Taj Dubai Hotel on 6th October 2015.
The World Leadership Congress is a comprehensive conference covering the most innovative employer experiences in creating, cultivating, growing and maintaining a culture of management and leadership both within and outside of the workplace.
With the theme “If not now, When?”, distinguished guest speakers from U.S., Europe, GCC and Asia discussed the importance of leadership in business, social, economic, CSR and its role in making the world sustainable .
The highlight of the event was the recognition and awarding of selected high profile and exceptional organisations and business leaders in various fields.The Best Corporate Social Responsibility Leadership was awarded to Dubai Duty Free for the organisation’s significant leadership in creating a better world through responsible business practices and its demonstration of excellent commitment and positive contributions to the environment, communities and to the society as a whole.
The Environmental Leadership Award was also presented to Dubai Duty Free in recognition of itsoutstandingrole in promoting the protection and preservation of the environment throughout the business and the effective implementation of its Environmental Management System.
